Oh what a treat we have for you today – new Tomb Raider screenshots and concept art. It’s no secret that a large percentage of the gaming populous is excited about the reboot of Lara Croft, and I’m certainly no exception. I could go on and on about how great some of this looks, or how enthralled I am with the care Crystal Dynamics seems to be taking with this title. However, pictures speak louder than words… so here you go.

Love the new tone the game is taking. I’m hoping it’s going to be far darker with Croft being human too (read: not-so-hilarious sized-tits, injuries sustained, even better character development, etc).

That’s really what they are going for here and I think that’s why this reboot was necessary. Bullet… and just about everything proof Lara was fine 15 years ago (my god I feel old) but today it doesn’t really wash. Crystal dynamics seems to be really pushing the point of her being a valid, well developed character in Today’s market.
