New Trailer For Uncharted: Golden Abyss

Sony has today released a new short for Uncharted: Golden Abyss, developed by the folks at Sony Bend who also worked on 2009’s Resistance: Retribution. If you have already seen the numerous E3 run-throughs and demonstrations, there’s nothing new on offer in the trailer, though in 20 seconds the video is able to wrap-up all of the unique gameplay mechanics, enhanced by Vita’s robust blend on control methods.

Uncharted: Golden Abyss’ release date has yet to be verified, though it’s very likely that the game will launch in tandem with Sony’s new handheld in the near future.

  1. Oooooh shiny. Also, short and sweet.

  2. My interest of the Vita is steadily rising..

    • My interest is holding fast, my wallets complaining about facing the prospect of having to feed two consoles! :)

  3. Shortest trailer ever? TBH, didnt see the point, same stuff we have seen before

    • … and no story at all, not great marketing for the game at all. Then again it’s the Vita that they actually want to sell.

  4. I can’t help but feel like that trailer had more content in it and then someone over at Sony Bend saw it and was like “GAAAH! We’re not ready to unveil that feature yet, cut it out!”

  5. Isn’t this technically the first trailer?
Well, it looks good. To be fair, they don’t have to do much to convince me to buy either a Sony Bend portable game or an Uncharted game though.

  6. Want want want.

  7. Finally, a sequel to the 2007 masterpiece…

  8. getting this for definite.
