Fans of Red Dead Redemption’s gun-slinging multiplayer component are in for a treat as Rockstar has recently announced a new DLC pack dubbed “Myths and Mavericks.” Though we don’t have any exact details, we do know that the content will be completely free, ushering in a number of “fan-favourite” multiplayer characters as well as new locations to stage your online skirmishes.
Rockstar has also announced that the September update will address issues fans have been experiencing with the Undead Overrun multiplayer mode.

Great news, and awesome to see good support and new DLC so later after release. And I only have the Undead disc version yet seem to still have 100% multiplayer access (and co-op MP is brilliant) – good job RockStar! :)
Perhaps LA Noire will get some more DLC one day, as these missions seem to be the best ones. Mind you, perhaps not after the Bondi Studio business…

There was a new one announced in this weeks PSN Store Update, ‘The Consul’s Car’ I think… Although it’s only North America for now, it will hopefully be making it’s way here. Fingers crossed it won’t be last one either.

If you’ve got a PAL copy of the game, the US DLC wont work with it.

Sweet. Played this thru twice on PS3. Just borrowed it off my bro for a third play thru on 360. Gonna hit the MP soon after SP. So the timing should be just right for me. :)

Been meaning to return to this game, I loved the story and setting. This will coax me back in, which I assume is exactly what they’re intending to do as well as attracting new faces.

After the bust that was LA Noire I’m not suprised they have switched their focus back to this game ;) Nah, I suppose it wasn’t too bad, just Red Dead is much, much, much better.

Shit. Just sold this, this morning having finished the campaign and not being that interested in the multiplayer side of it. Oh well it’s not as if i would of played it more with this.
