Assassin’s Creed Revelations Beta Announced, PS3 Only

Ubisoft has announced that a multiplayer beta for the newest Assassin’s Creed game, Revelations, will be hitting the PS3 for Plus and Uplay members on September 3rd.

The beta will have nine characters to choose from: Sentinel, Vanguard, Guardian, Vizier, Thespian, Deacon, Bombardier, Trickster and Champion. Wanted, Manhunt, Deathmatch and Artifact Assault modes will be available to play, on the Knight’s Hospital, Antioch, and Constantinople maps.

No word yet of any public beta.

    • Plus, it’s on the PS Store too, now.
      Though, I still feel as if my HDD will run out, even though I got a WHOLE 320GB. ://

  2. Cool – hopefully I’ll be able to connect to a game. Have never once been able to connect to a multiplayer session on Brotherhood…sulk

    • Same here! Even signed up for a meet here & just couldn’t log in! :0(

  3. I love ACB’s MP, it’s just the matchmaking system that lets it down. Really glad that it’s not just PS+ exclusive, Uplay members can get it too, which is pretty much everyone as you just sign up for it :]

    • I was thinking that. Anyone who has played a fairly recent Ubi game will surely have signed up for uPlay

  4. That’s a nice little birthday-present from Ubi, will definitely try this out as I was quite fond of the AC:B multiplayer, though it could be exremely frustrating at times. Matchmaking, looking at you.

  6. Yes! It’ll be great to try this out. I really enjoyed the multiplayer in the last game, I hope they’ve fixed the matchmaking and lag issues though

  9. Cool! I loved playing the multiplayer beta last time :) I’ll have more time for it this year too as I won’t be renting games :)

  10. Sentinels and vanguards seem to be popping up in most games now adays. Guess they’re todays warrior and mage. I’ve yet to play Brotherhood, but it’s beta was quite interesting and different so I’m hoping this will be too.
