Ninja Gaiden 3 Gets Move Support

Tecmo Koei has just dropped us an email to announce full PlayStation Move compatibility for its upcoming game, Ninja Gaiden 3. This will be the first time the series has played host to motion control.

“NINJA GAIDEN 3 is all about slicing and chopping through flesh and bone and PlayStation Move bring players even closer to the game’s protagonist Ryu Hayabusa.  The game will be compatible with all Move peripherals and it will feature full compatibility with this exciting new hardware.”

If done right this could be very good indeed.

  1. If done right this could be very good indeed.

Couldn’t agree more – love the sound of this.

    • On topic – I am actually not sure how they would integrate it if i am honest, as surely you would have to see things from a 1st person perspective for it to be effective?

Completely off-topic – How do you do italics in comments??

      • Maybe its BB code?

      • No More Heroes seems to manage it pretty well, I imagine it’ll be a slightly more complex version of that.

I loved Ninja Gaiden Sigma, but I wasn’t too sure about what they had in mind for this game. Move support done right would be enough to convince me to buy it though. So long as they don’t reserve it for some useless gimmick, like making everybody’s boobs jiggle.

      • That’s an awesome idea, ProjectJAY!

  2. Hmm, intriguing. Hopefully it’s implemented well.

  3. There’s no way they’ll not resist the potentail of Ayane ninja Breast poking… was Jiggle enough? now it can go beyond

  4. I guess the Move could be used to determine the height and direction of sword slash, i.e. behead, cut off arms or cut the legs out from under the enemy… or will it be like the Kinect Fruit game.. slice enemies in two at any angle or direction. Could be good and anything is better than the near-arthrithic pain induced by playing Ninja Gaiden with a pad. :)

  5. Sounds like a good idea to me, nice to see some new Move games.
