EA has another “PLAY4FREE” title in the pipeline and this time it’s being developed by universally acclaimed RPG developer BioWare. Warhammer Online “Wrath of Heroes” takes the fast-paced PvP gameplay from the original MMO and turns it into its own standalone title which will be available to the masses. Instead of creating and developing your own in-game avatar players will have a pre-set selection to choose from each with his or her pros and cons, very similar to more tactical MOBAs such as League of Legends or DOTA.
One of the champions featuring in Wrath of Heroes will be Felicia the Bright Wizard. Focusing mainly on offence, Felicia will march into battle packing a moderate amount of heat, capable of unleashing devastating area attacks and trapping her enemies.

What’s up with all the MMORPG’s? It’s like there’s two new ones every month. Sorry, but I’m not a fan of subscription-based games so I’ll gladly pass. This doesn’t look particularly interesting to my eyes, but I guess if you’re a Warhammer fan that’s not all that into the 40k business then this might be shiny. (as in Firefly)

As highlighted in the first sentence this is not an MMO nor is it subscription based, hence why it’s part of EA’s PLAY4FREE line.

I’m sorry, guess that’s what happens when you (as in me) read and comment on something just as you’ve come back from a nights out drinking…
Play4free actually makes the game rather interesting.

Yes but free to play is rarely truly free. More apt description would be Free to play to a certain point then credit card please for extra levels, items, quests etc.
But I guess that would label them extended trials eh?
