Just a quick article to let you know Ubisoft has announced that following the success of the Assassin’s Creed Revelations multiplayer beta, initially exclusive to PlayStation Plus members and PlayStation 3 Uplay members, the beta will be opened to PSN members from September 8-11 in UK with a limited amount of beta downloads.
The multiplayer beta offers access to nine characters (The Sentinel, The Vanguard, The Guardian, The Vizier, The Thespian, The Deacon, The Bombardier, The Trickster and The Champion), three maps (Knight’s Hospital, Antioch, Constantinople) and four playable modes (Wanted, Manhunt, Deathmatch, and Artifact Assault).

Having never played an AC game before, I actually quite enjoyed playing this beta. Not enough to make me want a copy this year (far too many games on my list already lol) but I might pick it up one day.

if you fancy it you can pick up AC2 fairly cheap these days and I personnally think that is the best one of the lot

Lol everytime I meet up with a mate of mine he insists I should borrow his Assassins Creed games. The problem is I know they are long games and I don’t really have time to sink a lot of time into games at the moment (frantically finishing off my current games at the moment to afford Gears3 on release day)

I’d advise you to start at number one if your interested, the series story is bloody fantastic!

Tbh that is exactly why I am holding fire picking this new one up, so I can play through the previous 3. Everyone I know who has played through the series says the storyline is the absolute highlight :)

Haven’t fired up the beta yet.
Might give it a go tomorrow.

I cant understand why they have gone all wierd with the way you carry out assassinations (haaa sorry cant spell) I prefered the original creep up the wall below and shove the little wrist dagger thingy through the jugular type kill the first two games were brutal and the more recenet editions seem to have put a big fat techno bubble around that its like taking a good slasher movie and adapting it for cbeebies…………sorry oops didn’t mean to rant there :o/

I found it a little boring, not played and AC online before however. I thought it was a little restricted and very slow..

Did anyone enjoy the multi-player in brotherhood? It seemed like a great concept to me, but wasn’t so much fun to play – perhaps it’s because I find the controls a little over complex.

I recently picked up Brotherhood and generally i’m enjoying it single player but could anyone tell me if the combats the same target click button style here? I’m kindve expecting it to be and if that is the case then i’m happy to wait for prices to come down before i jump into the next one.
Cheers guys.

Not had a chance to give this a go yet, but I’ll try and give it a chance over the weekend.
