Super Mario 3D Land/Mario Kart 7 Dated for Europe

Two big hitters for the Nintendo 3DS have been dated for Europe. Super Mario 3D Land will be released on the 18th November, and players will be able to scout levels and find secrets before they play using the built-in gyro sensor.

Mario Kart 7 will be available on 2nd December and will include a new optional first-person driving mode that is controlled using the gyro sensor. The game also introduces new playable characters like Lakitu and Metal Mario, and a tricks system like the one in Mario Kart Wii .

A new “metallic red” Nintendo 3DS will also be launching in Europe on 30th September.

  1. “will include a new optional first-person driving mode that is controlled using the gyro sensor”

    oooh.

    • Surely this is something you on touch devices because they don’t have hardware controls? If you have them, why would you not want to use them?

    • Sounds good, but renders the 3D useless as the screen will be moving..

  2. Finally some games I want to play on my 3DS!

  3. Really? It’s going to be called Super Mario 3D Land, not Super Mario Land 3D? That just sounds… wrong.

    • I agree. I just thought it was a typo.

  4. “A new “metallic red” Nintendo 3DS will also be launching in Europe on 30th September.” If it’s a solo nub version, who would buy that? In fact who is buying the 3DS in its solo nub form?
