EA have yet to confirm Dead Space 3 but it has not stopped Israeli news show ‘The Headlines’ outing the game and giving us a quick glimpse at some new monsters.
The video, recorded at EA’s Redwood Shores office, clearly shows a sign for Dead Space 3. When asked about the video, EA have said ‘We don’t have any news about the Dead Space franchise at this time.’
Unless EA Redwood are playing a massive joke to highlight shoddy journalism, Dead Space 3 exists.

i don’t speak Hebrew but I’m guessing that wasn’t a interview about dead space 3 and just one about dead space in general. although at 0:07 there was clearly a dead space 3 sign.

Man, if that happened at the place I work (ie. press getting shots of a product that hadn’t launched yet), there would be a total shit storm. Disciplineries and that.

I don’t think co-op would do dead space a lot of good. As citizeninsane pointed out, it’d take away the suspense of the atmosphere.

I think it could be done. Add more monsters, split you and your partner up for sections. I’d buy it just for that.

Perhaps, although DS2 took away alot of that from DS1 anyway.
And I did say mode, not campaign – perhaps a co-op section instead of the poor multiplayer, or some co-op DLC. It could work, you could get seperated at times, it wouldn’t necessarily have to be co-op in entirely the same manner as the single-player mode.

Or if the Necro’s seem to target one of you in places, so you have to defend them or help hold them off! Basically, just looking at other ways they can improve on DS3 to keep the series fresh. DS2 made some great improvements: more set-piece (like when you get knocked out into space) and they got rid of the terrible map was gone; and Issac spoke!

I preferred Isaac silent, it was much better. DS2 was a slight disappointment for me.

Loved Dead Space & liked Dead Space 2, but I wish Visceral would allow it time to breathe & maybe get on with Dante’s 2 whose ending looked nailed on for sequel

With you here CC. Completes Dantes recently, very enjoyable (though don’t think I could play it again) and I hope that a sequel is made before DS3, as much as I love the first 2, don’t want to see it become pumped out yearly.

DS1 is my favourite single player game this gen, DS2 is a very close second only because I’m up to chapter eleven and it feels less creepy than the first did. Hopefully DS3 keeps the gameplay on track, I don’t want to see this series ruined.

I’ve done the extraction part, it is quite good as long as you’ve got the move controller, the Dualshock is a bit clumsy for aiming

I loved Dead Space, one of the few games I’ve bothered getting the platinum, the second was good but infuriating in places. Glad to see another one, if it looks like it keeps the quality up and isn’t rushed then I will get it for sure.

I liked Dead Space but i haven’t enjoyed what i’ve played of DS2 so the prospect of another game doesn’t really appeal to me.
