Trials HD nailed the atmosphere, control and mechanics, but it missed out a bit on the level designer, limiting creations to just your friends, and the single location didn’t really help.
Evolution, though, looks like being exactly that – the trailer below gives you a tiny snapshot into the game’s massive UGC (user generated content) potential, and I absolutely adore stuff like this in games, being something of a creative spirit.
Of course, the rest of the game – the single player stuff – will be hard as nails again, and we wouldn’t want it any other way. RedLynx have a playlist, here, with lots of other tutorial videos.
We’ll have the review up before the game’s release next week.

can’t wait, i just hope you don’t need to be a gold subscriber to download the user levels.
if they do that, i can’t see me buying.
that last bit though, somebody made some sort of flight sim? O_O
if they’ve got a set of tools that allows something like that then who knows what people will come up with.

MS: ‘So I hear you can make any kind of game you want in LBP2. What we gonna do about that?’

Wouldn’t mind this on my ps3.

Haha – Good luck with that! :)

Can’t a man dream without being laughed at?

Of course – I just had visions of you trying to prise it out of Microsofts claws! :D

Trials HD was amazing and this looks even better. Can’t wait :)

Agreed. This looks utterly insane in having the environment (and tricks) pimped up to bonkers-levels. I’m not one for score-chasing but the game mechanic is so utterly wonderful that it was always fun.
