Bethesda Tease Wasn’t Skyrim DLC

Elder Scrolls developer Bethesda had gamers in a flurry yesterday when it uploaded an image via the BethBlog Twitter account.

The image depicted a rugged, dirty-faced male many had assumed was a Nord from the acclaimed fantasy series, leading to guesses that the studio was about to unveil its first expansion for Skyrim.

However, having clicked on a video link over at GameTrailers (we’ve tried a few with the same result) the image appears again, though this time within a cinematic trailer for upcoming title, Dishonored.

The image we captured above reveals that a full-length trailer should be available to the public very soon.

  1. Is the picture of the “rugged, dirty-faced male many had assumed was a Nord” available anywhere, I didn’t know about this.

      • Oh thanks just found it any way, I realised I could look at their Twitter.

    • Ok just found the picture http://yfrog.com/odtyxcurj I wouldn’t have thought that was skyrim, it doesn’t match the look really, but then again I don’t think it looks like Dishonored either.

  2. This makes me a sad panda. I’ve just started a new game in Skyrim and a DLC announcement would have been perfect. Oh well, still interested to see what Dishonored will be like.

    • Personally I didn’t it would be Skyrim DLC. Beth have a tendency to use in-game footage for everything Skyrim-related (from what I’ve seen.)

    • Plus haven’t Bethesda STILL got issues with the PS3 patches?

      • Yeah there are still some issues. It’s much better (from what I hear), then at launch, but they are still working on improving the games stability.

I believe they said they would do four big patches, (they done three so far) and then they would focus on DLC.

  3. keeping an eye on Dishonored, bound to be great.

    • got it by e-mail just a sec ago
