Datura Hits PSN On May 9th, Features Dualshock Support

Get your hands on in a fortnight.

Plastic has just confirmed that oddball PSN Move em’ up, Datura, will be available to purchase in two weeks’ time, on May 9th. The studio also announced that the game will support stereoscopic 3D and will even allow Move-less players to get a slice of the action with Dualshock 3 compatibility. For the latest check here, but not before you’ve taken a gander of this exceptional poster.

We’ve yet to see a price posted. Hopefully it will be in the same ballpark as Plastic last PSN release, Linger in Shadows. Trophies are a cert, though whether Datura will swagger onto the store with a platinum in tow remains to be seen.

      Well it’s $ 7.99 for ps+ in USA so I guess it’s about £9.99 for Uk ps+ members.

Datura flowers are sometimes called “Moonflowers” and is used as a hallucinogen.

“Datura intoxication typically produces effects similar to that of an anticholinergic delirium (as contrasted to hallucination): a complete inability to differentiate reality from fantasy; hyperthermia; tachycardia; bizarre, and possibly violent behavior; and severe mydriasis with resultant painful photophobia that can last several days. Pronounced amnesia is another commonly reported effect.”

Think that explains the game plot then :)

Linger in Shadows has been lingering at the bottom of my hdd so i hope Datura is more fleshed out but i’m quite looking forward to seeing what it’s all about.
