This week, the big update news has got to be Sorcery. Many people have been waiting for this since the E3 demo last year and a lot of hopes rest on it to make that Move purchase seem a little more worthwhile. Blair’s review threw up some positives and made it sound like it might just provide a few enjoyable hours of motion controlled magical tomfoolery.

Table Top Tanks arrives for Vita, offering augmented reality tank battling for a budget price of £1.59/€1.99 and Doctor Who arrives with his Eternity Clock. We’ll have a review for that soon. There is also a raft of old Sega classics making an appearance, including Super Hang On, which I used to think was the best motorbike game in the world.

  1. Argh, only one small game for Vita. I’m starting to get near the end of Uncharted and I don’t have anything else!

    • I picked up Wipeout 2048. It looks & plays fantastic!

      • I played Wipeout HD and pretty much slammed the sides of the track for 80% of the time…yes, I suck.

    • There’s plenty there even if it means risking money on like a new type of game or IP.

    • Shinobido 2 Revenge of Zen is alright. Bit repetative but feels a lot like Tenchu from PS1 so its all good.

      • I was thinking about that, but was generally put off by the PS2 graphics, might consider it now

    • I’m feeling the same way. Only a week until Resistance Burning Skies though.

    • Just downloaded Table tanks, and it’s pretty fun! Good distraction for a while and only a couple of quid!

    Revenge of Shinobi, Super Hang-On & Wonder Boy in Monster Land and Monster World leading the charge along with Alex Kidd… Never played Monster World IV, so will grab that too.

  4. Pity you guys can’t have expanded and collapsed sections so the list isn’t laughably long as it’d still be fine for SEO and look sooo much neater. I rarely check the PSN update articles for this very reason. It’s just a sea of overwhelming text.

    • that would be cool but probably a lot of hassle to code in just to tidy up SCEE’s messy bullshit. I’d like to just post the full games and demos but then people would moan that they can’t see what trailers or avatars are available. Or say it looks like a shit update because there’s only five things. no way to please everyone, as our 2-page list and summary experiment showed!

      • Would love all the useless crap like flowery horse armour & trailer of a 2 month old game being on another page, or not here at all, but could see the 3 people who buy it moaning.

      • Your top level categories would change so infrequently it would be a matter of formatting the things you already are but in the right section. However, some numpty will probably wonder where all the content has gone if it’s collapsed so I shall refrain from nagging! :-)

      • Although, might I say, if someone can’t work out to expand and collapse with little buttons then they don’t actually deserve the internet or to enjoy the Playstation family of consoles. I’ve still not read the full list as it’s … yeah… terrible on everyone’s website (not just TSA’s).

      • Just get a JQuery accordion plugin on the go and you’ll be nearly there ;)

      • Trailers are never interesting anyway its like 4 things every week or something then the Avatars and Themes are just dull without the image, I guess people could just find them by accident if they where removed, just think they’re not important.

    I bet there’s quite a lot of DLC for it, which probably accounts for the low initial price.

  6. Might try the Ridge Race demo, wasn’t planning on getting the game but no harm in trying it.

    • I love that game – It’s awesome in a splitsecond-y old style burnout kinda way.

      Don’t play it expecting a RR game though – You’ll be sorely disappointed.
