Ubisoft has lifted the lid on a collector’s edition for their upcoming action sequel. Assassin’s Creed III “UbiWorkshop Edition” is available from their webstore for the currently discounted price of $99.99 with free worldwide shipping.
This is one of the games I’m most excited for at the end of this year and it’s a fairly good deal on some nice peripheral materials.
It features a copy of the game on the console of your choice (it’s region free) and a couple of books. The first is the updated edition of the Assassin’s Creed Encyclopedia with over 300 pages to peruse and absorb. The other book is the graphic novel, Subject 4. It’s a collection featuring Assassin’s Creed: The Fall and Assassin’s Creed: The Chain, giving you the whole Daniel Cross and Nikolai Orelov story arc.
I like the look of those books but I always loved the Assassin’s Creed statues that came with special editions so I’m hoping they do another one like that in addition to this.

I got the encylopedia with the Revelations special edition and it’s awesome. Can’t afford this edition sadly, but hopefull like last time they’ll put the encylopedia up a little after release for £20.

This is already the third announced special edition Peter. The Join or Die one looks good, but I’m getting the Freedom edition.

There’s already one that comes with a statue – the freedom edition, Gamestop and Ubisoft store exclusive.

the statue that came with the first game looked nothing like Altair.
the clothes and that were accurate, but the face looked nothing like him.

Couldn’t they have included this with the Freedom Edition? Annoying having 2 big editions containing separate things.

I’ll get the one that’s £20, 3 months after it’s release.
Just got Revelations Ottoman Edition for £15 in Tesco. Although it’s practically identical to Brotherhood and AC2, I’m still loving it so far.
