Vita Games Coming Free To PS Plus Subscribers

Japanese developer Grasshopper Manufacture have announced that five student game submissions have been selected to appear as free downloads for PlayStation Plus subscribers.

The games, part of the Game Campus Festa program, involved groups of students getting early access to Vita dev kits last year, with the finished games submitted in February.

The titles that will see release in Japan are Uni Uni Union (puzzle action), Eledive (puzzle action), Octalide (action), Volt (puzzle action) and Mou, Sou Suru Shika Nai!! (puzzle).

The games will be released towards the end of June.

  1. Wow, that’s awesome, PS+ is wonderful at the moment.

The only thing better than free games, is free games consoles!

  2. For EU PS+ too? :D

    • No, doubt it.

      • ha ha…….sorry

      • Don’t speak
I know just what you’re saying
        So please stop explaining
Don’t tell me ’cause it hurts

        ^_^

  3. This sounds like a good idea.
Not likely to arrive in EU or US though.
I doubt the students are going to internationally localise the games.

Still, any Vita influence on PS+ is a positive in my book, hopefully this is just the small beginnings.

  4. Get ps Classics working on vita, give some away to ps+ers, make me happy to be a vita and ps+ owner.

  5. It’s about time! But i’m sure that the EU won’t see this until a much later date.

  6. Great idea, hope Sony do more of the same.

  7. Cool, hopefully we’ll see something like this here too.

  8. Quite soon too! If PS+ continues to give more Vita support I’ll more than likely renew.

  9. Would be great if we get this in Europe too.

  10. A good start.
