Online retailer behemoth Amazon has shocked the gaming world and opened up a new game studio, alongside the surprise announcement of their first game.
“We’re so happy to finally be able to reveal the social game we’ve been hard at work on – Living Classics,” says the company in a statement overnight. Living Classics is a Facebook game that is live today – a socially wired moving object game that draws from multiple books.
Amazon Game Studios is a new team at the company that’s “focused on creating innovative, fun and well-crafted games” with the studio saying they believe they can deliver a “great, accessible gaming experience that gamers and customers can play any time.”
