Sony has confirmed its next batch of PlayStation Plus goodies.

As well as pushing the available cloud storage space up to 1GB for PS3 owners, Sony also announced that Red Dead Redemption will soon join the pack of games available.

In addition, though, and hidden away from the main conference, is news that SEGA’s Hell Yeah! is October’s game of the month, and 24 Caret Games’ Retro/Grade will be part of the PlayStation Plus Presents series soon.

These will be in addition to RipStone’s Big Sky Infinity and Knytt Underground, as we’ve already mentioned.

I’m looking forward to RDR, having only briefly played Undead Nightmares.

For me, the 1GB Cloud Storage, is worth the money I pay for plus alone.

The increase in cloud storage space is welcome news. It’s surprising how much space some of the game saves take.

RDR – a perfect chance to go back and finish that game. Sold it after getting through most of it and found some of it to be a bit ‘samey’ towards the latter part.

Red Dead Weighs in at just under 9GB, I have it from the store and had to download it again recently. The version you get is post-patch – so there’s no updating required after installing :-)

@Taylor Mae – I keep my internet on a CD. Give me a shout if you lose your internet again and you can borrow mine.

Kind of glad my PS+ sub is running out next month. Not really enjoying seeing loads of disc games released instead of PSN titles. Too big downloads and they are all pretty old games which I have already got, or played and traded back in.

      Second paragraph dude:

“24 Caret Games’ Retro/Grade will be part of the PlayStation Plus Presents series”
What exactly does that mean? Does it mean that PS+ funded the development and they’re asking us to buy it, or, that PS+ funded development and it’ll be a free PS+ game?

Cloud storage increase is most welcome. Just completed DS2 (surprise – i actually enjoyed it more than i expected) so i’ll delete that now and make room for RDR.
