Along with your usual quartet of podcast voices, this week’s show features the vocal talents of Tuffcub. He’s here to speak about the Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag unveiling that he attended and wrote about earlier on the site.
As usual, we start with the news and who won what at the Oscars features quite heavily. We also recap some of the smaller bits and pieces that have been emerging about the PlayStation 4 and ponder the Wii Mini’s fate. Thomas Was Alone is coming to PS3 and Vita, so that got us a little bit excited too.
I talked about a PlayStation Mobile game which has a special tie to the podcast and Kris continued to have his finger on the pulse of modern gaming by playing a little bit of Just Cause 2. Then Kev spoke about House of Cards on Netflix.
We complete the usual podcast with our quiz (a Tuffcub special) and listener questions.

why do people make such a big deal when the man wins that many when a woman beat that record decades ago?
i suppose you could say he’s the most successful male. ^_^
maybe an actor will match an actresses achievement one year, but not this year. ^_^
there was an award for best animated short or something wasn’t there?
was a short film that showed before Wreck-It-Ralph, called Paper Man that one it from what i read,, it was a beautifully animated little love story, i thought it was just brilliant.
it made me smile.
and then straight afterwards i saw the, also, brilliant Wreck-It-Ralph.

i read somewhere that the full edition of Uncharted 3, the downloadable version, needs something like 80 gig to install.
the game’s about 40 odd gig, but with the bloody stupid install process on ps3 you need double the space to install anything, the space the download, and then the same again for the installed version.
one thing that seems kind of odd to me about Assassins Creed 4, they seem to have gone back in time, it’s Connor’s grandfather isn’t it?
i thought the games were supposed to be working they forwards, towards the time when the Desmond sections where set
i hope Just Cause 3 has a co-op mode, it’s not often i say a game would be improved with multiplayer, but Just Cause is one such game.

I am like this > O.O (I think) 40/80Gig to me is crazy lol.
