New Dishonored DLC Emerges From The Shadows

Dishonored was the best game of last year. The BAFTAs said so. But Arkane and Bethesda aren’t finished with it yet, they’re still releasing post-launch DLC for their fantastic sneaky stab-fest.

The next digitally distributed delight for the game isn’t that missing “u,” unfortunately. No, it’s much more stabby than that. Titled “The Knife of Dunwall” this DLC package sees you leave Corvo behind and take on the role of Daud. He was the assassin who murders the Empress in the opening moments of Dishonored and he’s got an impressive arsenal of supernatural specialties himself.

It picks up Daud’s story after his fateful encounter with the Empress and, via an encounter with The Outsider, tells a tale of redemption. We’re promised new gadgets and weapons as well as the companionship of Daud’s band of mercenary assassins and some new areas of Dunwall to explore.

The DLC is due out on April 16th for Xbox 360 and PC, with the PS3 version arriving the next day. It’ll cost £7.99/€9.99/800MSP.
