Gran Turismo 6 Pre-Order Bonuses Revealed

Sony has announced the pre-order bonuses for upcoming racing sim, Gran Turismo 6.

Every pre-order of the game will grant access to the “Precision Pack” which includes five otherwise unavailable cars from Gran Turismo’s back catalogue.

These are the Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3 N24 2013, Audi R8 LMS, Chevrolet Corvette Stingray (C7) 2014, Tesla Motors Model S Signature Performance and the SRT Viper GTS.

Alongside this announcement, a special edition of GT6 was also revealed. This package will be available exclusively at GAME in the UK and includes a special 15th Anniversary GT6 steelbook case, custom paint, outfits & avatars for your racer, 1 million in-game credits, and 20 exclusive ‘performance enhanced’ cars.

Customers who pre-order this special edition will also, of course, receive the aforementioned Precision Pack DLC.

Gran Turismo 6 is due for release on December 6th, exclusively on PlayStation 3.

  1. Already pre-ordered the Anniversary Edition, so looking forward to this, even more so with Driveclub being delayed. :)

    • I have also pre-ordered the Gran Turismo 6 15th Anniversary Edition but im not sure if the person has got it right. What does it say under your pre-order number? does it say DEP PS3 GRAN T?

  2. Pre-ordered ages ago. BTW, if anyone missed it, Amazon UK are offering Precision & Torque DLC packs as a pre-order bonus.

    • Same, although Shopto are also giving the same pre-order DLC bonus. It might be standard…..
In case anyone is wondering the ‘Torque pack’ consists of five performance enhanced cars with the 15th anniversary livery.

      – Ford GT40 Mark I 15th Anniversary Edition
      – Pagani Huayra 15th Anniversary Edition
      – Renault Megane Trophy V6 15th Anniversary Edition
      – Alpine A110 1600S 15th Anniversary Edition
      – Lancia STRATOS 15th Anniversary Edition

To be honest I’m liking the the look of the Torque pack more than the Precision, but no matter we get them all anyway! ;)

    • I thought the Torque and Precision packs had been announced ages ago I they were included in the ShopTo info when I ordered just after it was announced. Unless what’s included is new?

  3. GT5 was the last thing i ever pre-ordered and its mystifying how the pre-orders are piling in for the sequel.

A reminder: GT5 was awful at launch, horribly laggy menus, glitches and a baffling demand for online connectivity.
It took at least a few months for them to iron out their issues.

Then we found out Polyphony live in a tiny bubble, utterly and blissfully unaware that games have steadily evolved since the heyday of GT3-A Spec (oh how i loved that game).
GT5 was a relic from an earlier age and i’ve seen almost nothing to convince me that the studio has learnt anything from their previous boo-boo.

Perhaps it’s because I’m approaching 30 now but it’s almost impossible for me to be anything other than sceptical for GT6.

    • Above is the total truth. Gt5 on launch was a huge mess. All that wait and when it came out it was so buggy. Gt6 has come far to late in the ps3’s life. I loved the older gt games though and put an obscene amount of hours into gt2. Back then it truely was a ground breaking game

  4. “Custom paint”, oh no do are they really sticking with the abomination that is paint items instead of a free selection from a colour-map? That was outdated last gen.
