Hot on the heels of PlayStation 4 reviews hitting the internet, Housemarque have taken to the PlayStation Blog to show off a little more about Resogun, starting with the lovely looking new trailer above. My anticipation levels are rising!
Within that trailer, you might spot a little snippet of the co-operative multiplayer, which has just been revealed today, but according to reviews will be online only. That brief moment shows two ships taking on the oncoming waves of enemies, and both in different designs of ship.
Each ship, make up of adorable little blocks, has got differing attributes with regard to the agility, boost and overdrive. So there should be a ship that suits differing play styles and these should also allow the co-op players to cover a couple of different bases. The Ferox is completely level, but on either side the Nemesis has better agility and boost, while the Phobos specialises in overdrive. Combining the latter two should make an awesome team.

Don’t really get the fuss over this tbh. Everyone seems genuinely excited for it but I just see a game that could easily have existed 20 years ago, albeit a good looking version of that.
Whenever I play an “old school” game I’m disappointed by its simplicity.

Glad I’m bit the only one. I’ll give it a go as it’s free but is never pay for it. My scrolling shooter love started and ended with Air Raid on the Atari 2600. Loved and hated that game!

Each to their own but I never played games before the ps1 so when I played SSHD and soon Resogun, it feels fresh and new next to the annual CoD release etc..
Saying that, FIFA14 is one of my launch games…. :O
