February’s PlayStation Plus Content Confirmed

It looks as though that leak earlier this month was right, even though it seemed too good to be true: next month’s PS+ update will bring BioShock Infinite and Metro: Last Light for PS3 owners, while PS Vita users will receive Dynasty Warriors NEXT and ModNation racers as part of the Instant Game Collection.

This leak comes from an image on the Sony Entertainment Network web store, which you can see below, and although there isn’t an official announcement, that should be appearing on the PlayStation Blog at some point tomorrow.

That seems like a really good deal, and it’s one of the best PlayStation Plus offerings yet for PS3 owners. I’ve already played BioShock, but I’m interested to see how Metro is, and while the Vita games aren’t spectacular in my eyes, they’ll definitely do for someone.

Although not displayed here, it’s also worth noting that the developers of Outlast confirmed that their game would be appearing on PlayStation Plus this month. So, there’s your complete update.

Thanks, zb100

UPDATE: The PlayStation Blog has confirmed the dates for the content, with PS3 and Vita titles arriving on the 29th of January and PS4 title Outlast coming one week later on February 5th.

  1. Wowzers.

    I look forward to Bioshock!

  2. I’m mainly excited about Outlast – I have the PS3 games and I’m not interested in the Vita games.

  4. i’ve already finished Infinite on 360, but i might give the PS3 version a spin.
another game i’ll never get a platinum for.
which including that one makes… uhm…carry the one…divide by 6 .yeah, about all of them. ^_^

not played Metro though so that is handy.

i love the Dynasty Warriors games, i suck at them but i like them.
i hope MNR is a hell of a lot smaller on Vita than it was on PS3.

or am i thinking of LBP karting?

one of them was huge on PS3.

  5. phew that was close nearly bought metro for £12.00 in sainsbury’s

    awesome month of freebies

  6. Metro has always on my to buy list aaaand now I don’t have to. Excellent.

  7. Outlast, Metro and Dynasty Warriors for me. I haven’t even started this month PS+ games, this is getting ridiculous.

(I have played Bioshock already but I am one of the few that found it a bit boring.)

    • Nope, I found it boring until the end (and some additional reading to tie up a few loose ends)!

      :)

  8. Sweeet!
Wanted Metro for a while, but pile of shame and spending curbs have prohibited it.

  9. Very Nice, will look forward to those.

  10. Metro and Bioshock are both great but i’ve already played them. Not tempted by the Vita games but i’m definitely looking forward to a few scares in Outlast.
