Alongside the February sales, Outlast is the major release of the week, set to scare the bejesus out PS4 owners. It’s free on PS+ this month, but if you’re not subscribing for some reason, it can be bought for £15.99/€18.99. Either way, don’t forget to grab it so you can take part in our next Plus Points Challenge, which is currently trying avoid starvation.
The PS3, meanwhile, saw the free-to-play co-op dogfighter Ace Combat Infinity enter into Beta yesterday, which will run until next Tuesday if you fancy checking it out. The Wolf Among Us’ second episode is out now for £3.99/€4.99 standalone (though you should really get the full season in the sale for around a tenner), and you can also get Adam’s Venture: Chronicles for £9.69/€11.99. Finally, the NAMCO Fighter Collection will set you back £19.99/€29.99 for Tekken Tag Tournament 2 and Soul Calibur V.
Futurlab bring one of their PS Mobile releases to the main PS Vita catalogue, as Surge Deluxe revamps the devilishly addictive puzzler for £3.99/€4.99. There’s a Doodle God and Doodle Devil bundle for £6.49/€7.99, while Dustforce brings the powers of cleaning stuff up to your screen for £7.99/€9.99, coming to both PS Vita and PS3 alongside trials and Cross-Play. Beware that Dustforce is not Cross-Buy, so only buy on the platform you want it on, CastleStorm Complete Edition is Cross-Buy though, for £11.99/€14.99.
As always, there’s a smattering of DLC, this time out fixated on a boatload of Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate unmentionables for you to enjoy, I guess, bundled together for £11.99/€14.99 or individually for £1.59/€1.99.
We’ll check in later and update this post with any new details, once the EU PS Blog posts the more definitive update list later this afternoon.
Update:Â I checked in and updated this post, with Castlestorm Complete Edition and NAMCO Fighter Collection the only additions of any note.

Outlast, The Wolf Among Us ep2, Call of Juarez Gunslinger and Enslaved for me this week. What with Tomb Raider too, I’ve got plenty to keep me busy until The Last of Us DLC next week!!

Every single week the ps4 is lacking, and I find this surprising. Obviously this week there is outlast, but other than that there’s nothing, and there’s been nothing since release.
You would’ve thought Sony would’ve made sure there would be something each week, even funny little £5 throwaway psn titles or conversions from ps3 or vita games.
I’m not massively bothered as kz and Warframe are keeping me more than entertained for now but I would’ve bought lots of games if there were lots of games to buy!
Youles
I think that’s why Crystal Dymanics released Tomb Raider. All the ground-work is already done, and apparently it’s easy to port to PS4 from PC. And since there isn’t much else available – as you say – it’s got to number 1 in the charts, despite being out 18 months earlier on every major platform! Good business model.

I might make my own shit game like floppy bird and release that. Would only cost about £2.50 to make them I could sell it at a ridiculous price of £30 like angry birds. Loads of money to be made, everyone is desperate for a new game and floppy bird is proof that even absolute turd can be popular!
Youles
Yup, it would probably sell on PS4 at the moment to be fair!

I did take over a year to develop the “Next-Gen” version so not quite that simple Youles!
Youles
Then I stand corrected, unless they had always planned to release it in the post (new gen) release game draught – then it was still a good idea! :)
DrDamn
It’s been out about two months and there have been 8 titles since release day. Outlast, Tomb Raider, Don’t Starve, Backgammon Blitz, Pinball Arcade, Zen Pinball, Doki Doki & Tiny Brains. Close to one title for every week. Maybe not stuff you wanted – but certainly not nothing.

This is the 4th month since release, November, December, January, February. OK it released end of Nov and it’s now only start of Feb but still…
8 releases in 10 weeks!
Spence1115
No console has ever gotten a particularly quick stream of games at launch though, its either launch or towards the end of the 6 month launch window – if a big game could have been released for it in December or January, they probably would have released it at launch to capitalise. Besides, nothing comes out in January.
Tomhlord
If it were 2015/16 and this was the case, it’s worrying. But it isn’t Tony, it’s February 2014 where even Japan hasn’t got the PS4 yet.
I agree, it’s lacking, but it’s nay bother! How many games did PS3 get in the immediate weeks/months after launch? Doesn’t January/February have a lull traditionally anyway? It’s the price we pay for being first in line, it’s quite exciting seeing things develop as we speak :)

I’ll queue up Outlast but even though i leave my PS4 in standby (and it’s set to connect and download) nothing i’ve queued up on the web store has ever downloaded automatically, only ever downloading when i power PS4 on. It was the same with the firmware update. Am i missing something in the settings?
DividSmythe
Mine worked with don’t starve last month but nothing else has. Suppose I got lucky with 1 title.
DividSmythe
Also status update: Outlast has downloaded but none of my updates have downloaded.
Youles
I’m not even getting the option to queue PS4 games to download via the web store :/
tonycawley
Once you’ve been through the checkout on the Web store, it should come up with a button that says download, not queue!
Works flawlessly for me, you can even check the product page again later for status of download.
It starts off “waiting”. Mine is currently “downloading”.
So, but the game, check out, then go back to product page and the button that originally said “add to basket” should now say “download”.
TSBonyman
Yeah i can do all the adding to download queue on the store and check the queue but it just says waiting. PS3 stuff still downloads fine for me, just not PS4.
Seems it’s not just me anyway, might fire off a query to the official PS forums if it doesn’t sort itself out soon.
leeroye
I have the same issue mate. As soon as i power on the the ps4 it adds all the patches etc to the queue, but it doesnt do it automatically when in standy.
It will download them in standy but only once they are added to the queue.
lambchop
As TSBonyman say’s below I`m pretty sure you have to choose that your PS4 can download stuff when in standby in the power settings.
Spence1115
Have you enabled the option to do so in standby? Its somewhere under the power settings on the PS4.
TSBonyman
Yes, i’ve enabled that option for standby, might go through the settings again to make sure though.

Played 5 minutes of Outlast, jumped out of my skin and that’ll do me for now. One to make (beg) the wife to watch while I play I think!
SpikeyMikey23
No Outlast for me. Watched someone stream the game before and it freaked the shit out of me just watching.
lambchop
Just set Outlast downloading now from the webstore. It’s worked OK for me up to date. Although I do find quite often downloads fail if the PS4 tries to download multiple things at the same time. Anyone else have this problem?
MrYd
Before playing Outlast, make sure you’ve got a clean supply of pants. You’re going to need them.
It looks good so far though. Nice creepy atmosphere, and a couple of enormous scares in the first 20 minutes or so. I’ve a horrible feeling it’s going to get a lot more stressful to play though. In a good way. Time to pick up something cute and fluffy from the February sale though. I think I’ll need it.
sshaunss
Outlast is on the ps4 store now you have to search for it tho :)

Gonna film mine and my girlfriends reactions with my 650d as we Outlast, I’ll link it to you guys on Twitter when it’s uploaded!
