Three retailers in the United States have listed the extra shiny The Last of Us Remastered with a release date of June 20th. These listings as usually placeholders but as Best Buy, Target and GameFly all have the same date then that cannot be a coincidence.
The date is almost exactly a year after the launch of the PlayStation 3 version of the game and will also be a week after this year’s massive E3 show.
However the date is a Friday which is rather unusual for the States, perhaps the game will launch globally on that day, Friday being the normal day for new games in Europe.

I’m hoping to get around to my second playthrough of the original soon so it will probably be another year before i’ll be tempted by this version.
