Last year Reload Studios came into existence, born from former Call Of Duty developers as well as ex Disney animator Nik Ranieri. The studio’s goal is to create games that take full advantage of VR, which will likely include Oculus Rift and Project Morpheus. Now Reload has unveiled its first game, and that is World War Toons. The trailer gives some indication of what the game is, namely a shooter centred around the Second World War.
However this won’t be a serious look at war, more a comedy shooter where players can control flying tanks depending on their class. Those classes include Officer, Soldier, or Heavy and each has their own perks to bring to battle. While the focus is on VR there will be a non-VR version of World War Toons, but platforms and a release date are yet to be confirmed by Reload Studios.
