Leatherface, Alien And More Kick Ass In the Mortal Kombat Pack 2 Trailer

We have a new trailer for second Kombat Pack coming to Mortal Kombat a little later this year.  It features two movie icons, Leatherface and the Xenomorph from Aliens, plus Triborg and Bo’ Rai Cho, the latter of which seems to enjoying farting on his opponents face. Lovely.

  1. There was a Mortal Kombat 10?

Oh right, it was launched last year. Why the Xenomorph? The damn Alien Franchis has been abused enough times. It makes no sense to include it when the damn thing doesn’t really use fighting as it’s main course of attack. Stealth, it does.

    • Probably shouldn’t mention that there is a Season Pack that has the Predator in it then… wait…

      • THe predator kinda suits MK. It has fought the likes of the Govenator and it adept at hand to hand combat. Xenomorphs, they kinda aren’t and just use stealth as their main asset.

      • Ed Boon evidently loved the Alien vs. Predator movies then.

  2. When did Alien develop those long sword-like attachments on its arms? Was it in one of the dire franchise-milking films I avoided?

    • There was a trailer out there that had the Alien come out of Baraka, so my guess is that this is a brand new variant based on the Tarkarka race.

  3. It was definitely worth the wait. I’m glad they didn’t throw in the full xray moves in the trailer like before.

  4. Cannot wait for that xD

  5. Who the hell is Bo Rai Cho?!

    • WHAT he was in Mortal Kombat 7 or something like that on PS3…. or was it PS2….. he was just a drunk xD

      • Ah I see, excuse my ignorance I haven’t played MK since PS1 era. : )

      • Actually, I think he first turned up in one of the non-numbered sequels, back on PS2. Actually, just to semi-correct myself, I just googled & it was deadly alliance (which was MK5, but not referred to as such).

Bo Rai Cho was both Liu Kang & Kung Lao’s mentor. He appeared in the above game first, but then also appeared in Deception & Armageddon which were both on PS2 as well. Boasts kind of a drunken fist style of fighting if I recall correctly.

Aside from the odd handheld game & cameo here & there I don’t think they have included him in stuff for a while.

  6. Just picked up MKX in Sainsburys for £15
