In a candid interview with next-gen.biz today, a Capcom spokesperson has explained that not only is the PS3 version of Devil May Cry 4 going to be more expensive than the 360 version, it’s also entirely out of their hands. You can translate this as either Sony want more money per game than Microsoft do, or that the likes of GAME and Gamestation are greedy bastards. It’s even more expensive on Amazon.
Of course, this isn’t the first time this has happened this generation, most multi-format games end up being at least a fiver dearer on the PS3, but this is a whole TEN POUNDS different. Our advice is to buy the 360 version, then take it back the next day and get your money back, wasting a bit of their time and money. You can’t do this in GAME, mind, because they stick stupid little stickers over the opening, so everyone congregate at your nearest Gamestation, pitchforks in hand.
