Oh noes. Looks like one of Microsoft’s big E3 surprises is Xbox Avatars, according to this story on Xbox360Fanboy.
Not sure where they got this from, but it appears to be a survey website for (amongst other things) upcoming games, with one of the surveys being for something somewhere between a Nintendo Wii Mii and an avatar from Sony’s own Home, for use on the Xbox 360. It’s not like Microsoft to copy ideas from others, right?
