Uncharted 2 made its mark in the Sony E3 2009 presentation on the 2nd June, and blew the audience away with its glorious graphics, intense depth, highly detailed character models and scenery. There was cheering on its introduction, all the way through the live gameplay, and on its exit. If you were watching the presentation live, or have since seen it in PlayStation Home, you won’t have seen the new gameplay footage in high quality. That is until now.
Sony uploaded a new theatrical trailer for the game on the same day as their conference to the US PlayStation Store. Some of the gameplay footage that we’ve seen in the presentation is in here, along with new characters and locations. The trailer also does a good job of giving us a good outline of the story, as well as the Official EU PlayStation Blog.
“The story begins with Drake finding a clue to the location of Marco Polo’s lost fleet. It leads him to the valley of Shangri-La and the possibility of an even greater treasure – the Cintamani Stone, regarded as the Holy Grail of Buddhist mythology that is said to give incredible powers to whoever discovers it. However, a Serbian war criminal called Lazarevic is also searching for it…”
