Tracks Announced For Rapstar

I don’t know if I’m suffering from memory loss, or perhaps I was just in a daze from all the goodness pouring out of Sony’s E3 presentation, but apparently there was some hullabaloo about Def Jam Rapstar during E3 and I missed it. The title is being developed by 4mm – a new studio set up by two of the founders of Rockstar, and is a hip-hop style karaoke game which follows the usual words on the screen, matching your voice, tone and tempo to the coloured bars malarkey, the main difference from usual karaoke games being that you rap not sing. Here’s the tracks which have been announced so far:

Flo-Rida-“Right Round”
Lil Wayne-“Mrs. Officer”
2 Much-“Wild Thang”
Dem Franchize Boyz-“Lean Wit It, Rock Wit It”
Lil Kim-“Put Your Lighters Up”
Black Eyed Peas-“My Humps”
MOP- “Ante Up”

If like me, you’re thinking that Flo-rida is an amazing place to holiday, and you’re confused as to whether ‘Lil’ is a first name or a reference to someone’s height then don’t fear as this is just a small section of the total tracks that will be available with the full release, which will look to include tracks from the past three decades of Hip-Hop.
