Rumour: New Silent Hill Will Be An FPS

Taking recent rumblings that Czech developer Vatra are making the new Silent Hill game as a given, it looks like the upcoming follow-up to the seminal third-person perspective survival horror series could be losing a couple of dimensions in the perspective department.

Quoting strengths such as FPS and action, Digital Development Management, an agency that works on behalf of studios in securing new contracts, also clearly state in Vatra’s profile that they’re working on a major franchise with a top-tier publisher along with Rush’N Attack Ex-Patriot, a digitally distributed game for XBL and PSN.

Putting two and two together and coming up with skin-less babies jumping right out of the screen at you, it’s being postulated that the studio will deliver an experience using what they know best; namely, an FPS.

Consider this one exceptionally salty until we hear anything further.
