This week’s free minis title is the excellent Blast Off. Another Half Brick developed minis like last week’s Echoes. Again it is one of the better minis available and Alex gave it a sound 8/10 when he reviewed it saying that it was “so compulsively entertaining that [it] is almost impossible to put down”.
Reviews this week are for Split/Second: Velocity (will they agree with Chris’ review?) and SBK X alongside a preview of Codemasters’ International Cricket 2010. Screenshot galleries of Castlevania: Lord of Shadows and a guide to God of War III’s challenge rooms make up some of the other content you will find in the digital mag available on the UK and IE PSN Stores for 99p tomorrow.
So that is two good minis in two weeks and there are another two yet to come. Of course it is not so great if like me you have already bought the minis that are being given away, but if you have not it is a great introduction to what minis have to offer and makes FirstPlay great value.
Update: As mentioned below by Katy and confirmed in an email forwarded on to us by TSA user benny boy the next two minis are Age Of Zombies with FirstPlay 009 and Rocket Racing with FirstPlay 010.
