Child Of Eden E3 Trailer

Can’t wait up another hour or so for Ubisoft’s press conference? Then here is a motion-controlled game to answer those of you looking for something other than party games for your Move/Kinect sessions.

Those of us who have spent many transcendent hours with Rez will instantly recognise some of the visuals and sounds in this video but can now have the added satisfaction of saving and protecting eco-systems in this “better than Rez 2″ ‘sequel’.

Watching the video with the player going all ‘Minority Report’ in it I find myself wondering whether this might be one game that is better with Kinect than Move.  I personally, cannot wait to hear more about this game over the coming hours and days.

I was not sure whether to stay up for Ubisoft’s conference, I will be now.

  1. do i have to wear a poncho and take copious amounts of LSD for this.
    either way, looks relaxing

  2. Man I could get wrecked and listen/play this easily…

    • definitely a ‘in the zone’ game ;)

  3. Looking good :D

  4. I’m not especially a fan of anything by Ubisoft, but Rez is right up there with the best games ever, and this looks great, probably right Greg, it would be better without having to hold something

    • Agreed :) I’m actually tempted to get a 360 and Kinect for this alone.

  5. I think the guy standing in front is more for artist impression as the graphics left the screen and cimbed onto his hand – 3D hint possibly?
I’m sure it will be written differently for Move and kinect so it’ll be interesting to see which plays better.

  6. Thats bloody amazing. I want this now, well at the very least as soonas possible, adored Rez.

  7. huh?

  8. this will be great for people owning a TV the size of a wall

    • hd projector and an amazing amp. See you all in rehab

  9. Anyone know if this is a licenced song and if yes, what it is? Love the trailer.

  10. Did you just coat my screen in something illicit? What the hell have I just viewed? It’s incredible! Not a clue how something dancey will cope with Kinect-lag (if it’s a real problem) but I’m happy with the Move sticks. God knows half the teenage nation was dancing with glow-sticks 10 years ago anyway! There’s just a chance that you may well direct a Boeing 747 down to your street whilst playing this.
