About a month ago we got a first insight into what the developments of this year’s addition for the FIFA franchise will be. Today, EASports have fleshed these out further with the announcement of the Creation Station.
For a couple of years now, players have been able to log on to easportsfootball.com and customise an avatar which appears next to your name in online games and even import a picture to super-impose on a player through Game Face. With the release of Creation Station players can create players, customise their appearance, accessories and, importantly, their attributes. It’s also possible to create an original team, right down to choosing the colours, stadium and unique crest.
In these days of LittleBigPlanet and ModNation Racers, you might be asking what good is creating stuff if you can’t share it? Well, through the website, all of your creations can be shared and then downloaded by others to compete in online modes.
It will also be possible to manage your formations, tactics and player attributes completely from the web, which you’ll have to admit is a pretty good way of spending your day at work – keeping your gaming time free for pwning n00bs (or losing to annoying 12 year olds).
Also new this year in FIFA 11 is Custom Audio, which enables fans to assign chants for every team and league in the game. Fans can set their home club’s chants to play during player introductions, halftime, and after goals – even hearing their name echo in the stands of Old Trafford or San Siro with created chants for their Virtual Pro. Plus, fans now have the ability to play music from their hard drive in-game.
Creation Centre will be launched in time for the game’s release during the week ending October 1st. I’m off to count down the days until I can recreate Martin O’Neill’s twice League Cup winning Leicester City side of the late-nineties.

the thing with fifa is its so repative, each year its the same. why cant they bring a fifa game out like set in the 80’s or90’s with the old kits and legendary players, i would buy that.

Why is it not in-game? they should do something similar to the Edit Mode of PES…..
Confused…
maneorix
It is in FIFA10, I’ve created a whole team of made up characters and given them weird stats. I haven’t seen the PES mode, but it’s pretty much an edit mode where anything can be configured..

Does this mean I can create a chant about Leicster City FC nicking my clubs manager? ;) lol, only kidding cc, i wasnt a fan of the portugeezer anyway.

I’m gutted
Nigel Pearson is one of the best respected coaches in the game… so much so that Fergie, Wenger & Benitez were falling over themselves to give Leicester promising youngsters for season long loans.
I’m not a fan of Souza… you can play all the football you want but if you can’t put the ball back in the back of the net you’re not going to end up ultimately winning.
A poor appointment by Manderic – who looks to have taken his eye off the club which resulted in Pearson being poached in the first place.

be prepared to watch 4-5-1 formation and very little goals.(although you have strikers that can score!) that was his system, and he never changed it, even when in our last game at home, one goal would have had us a playoff spot, he still wouldnt change to 4-4-2. Im glad hes gone but theres a possibility of southgate, and i dont rate him either.

Yeah, Southgate was linked to us – If you can’t do anything at M’boro, with money to spend, with the leagues most patient chairman you’re not going to do anything anywhere.

Each Fifa game is more or less the same to me with updated kits and squads, but I’ll still end up buying it!

Kinda, yeah… but fans of the game do notice how even a slight change affects the gameplay massively.
I think FIFA 09 was a massively different game to FIFA 08. FIFA10 however was a tweaked 09 – It will be interesting to see how FIFA11 shapes up

Can’t wait. FIFA 11 will be a number 1 priority for me, and I don’teven know why, they are similar in ways, but to me, every game is totally knew. The World Cup game is a completely different game to FIFA 10 becuase of such small yet effective changes.
