It’s another brisk week for the PlayStation Store with Earthworm Jim HD arriving. If you’re too young to remember the game first time around, it was a kooky kind of platformer which was packed with humour and, if my memory serves me correctly, flying cows.
Also this week, Episode 17 of FirstPlay seems to have a fairly strong lineup with a bit of personality being injected via their new feature in which members of the team recount personal gaming highs. The rest of the episode looks fairly strong too with a feature on 3D with Ray Maguire and a preview of Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood.
Bear in mind that the special offers are still on a number of products (I bought Mortal Kombat II and Street Fighter II Turbo last week and I’ve completely lost my skills on both) so if there’s nothing new this week for you then why not pick up some classics at a great price?

But it might be pared down a bit for the PSN. Or it might not be. I don’t know. I’m getting it though, I really, really want Football Manager (SI Games) to come to the PS3 (with Move support? Maybe?) so I’ll buy any old shit that makes that look more viable.

I saw Premier Manager on the store yesterday after the firmware update but when I tried to open the details page it would return an error. I guess it actually comes out today. I have been looking forward to a decent football management game for a console but does anyone know if this will be any good?

Does anyone else get excited and waste their money on dynamic themes or is it just me? I’m pumped for some bamboo action! Earthworm Jim, mortal kombat II and street fighter II for me this week. I also didn’t realise us Euro’s were getting stooged so much with our plus accounts, so far all the games available I already have except for the minis/avatars. We’re supposed to be getting a certain $ amount of free stuff per month/year, so are they getting more or are we getting less?

Hm didn’t know Dice planned a Vietnam pack for bad company,the old Battlefield Vietnam was a favourite(the vespa just kicked ass).So far in Bc2 all i seem to do is run for 5 minutes then get sniper killed.Anyways might look into the Lp2 pack but i was really hoping we’d get the plus upate this week,too bad.
