Mass Effect 2 PS3 Teaser

It may not be much, but in case you missed it, here’s the teaser for the PS3 release of Mass Effect 2 from EA’s press conference earlier today.

“The PlayStation 3 edition will include the full Mass Effect 2 game and hours of bonus content,” reads the press release, “making this the perfect introduction to BioWare’s award-winning action RPG franchise.” Here’s hoping at least a catch-up video is included with that.

Mass Effect 2 is coming to PS3 in January 2011.

  1. Had ME1 and I didn’t finish it. I got bored by the game mechanics (I dont really like RPG’s, they confuse me and too much effort!) and I wasn’t too keen on the shooting and such.

    With ME2 apparently improving all these things, I may give it a shot.

  4. Everybody over at the Bioware social site is ragin HARD about this announcement, saying that Bioware are cheap and want money, and that EA made them do it. There’s also a comment saying that Bioware has lost it’s soul. The only people that are making logical sense in the whole post, are getting drowned by the MASSIVE Xbox fanboy quotes on there.     • Good God, they could at least calm down and smell the roses here. Bioware are a company, they need to have their product in a large audience, so they decided to add PS3 to the mix. The Xbox(/PC?) fanboy are just absolutely unreasonable.

      • I’m pretty sure that they are Xbox fanboys since PC users will be happy for it since they don’t really have a side in the console war. All the reactions to PS3 getting exclusive content scream Xbox fanboys.

    • Good, the xbox fans of the world need a wake up call and a slap in the face. This was it and it needed to say. Grow the f up.

      Since when was Bioware a Microsoft employee. Halo was also, in development for the Mac, and only the Mac, that is until Microsoft just muscled in and bought it. Games are to be enjoyed by everyone. Mass Effect should’ve been on PS3 long ago, it was on PC, wat’s the difference. Hell, I think games should be cross platform, but unfortunately that can’t happen because of the stupid 360’s subscription service. Microsoft wanted 3rd party exclusivity gone, so it’s gone, there’s nothing mysterious about what’s been happening in the past few years, Microsoft systematically destroyed it be eroding it. It’s just coming back to bite them as now the PS3 is starting to steam ahead.

  5. I always dreamt about this moment… I literally screamed like a little girl when i heard the news. I’ll probably cry when Conviction makes its way to the PS3.

  6. Cool, bought this for PC but just don’t get along with KB&M controls. Can’t beat playing it on a big TV with a DS3.

  7. This is fantastic. I’ve got the first one on PC too. Now I can resume my adventures albeit with a new Shepherd.

  10. Why did they use the old PS3 logo? It seems this has been in the works for quite some time then.
