  1. 2010 is turing out to be a great year for us driving sports fans with both WRC and F1 2010 heading our way. I am almost looking forward to winter this year and settling down in front of my TV to play these great looking titles.

  2. Why are the visuals so damn ugly? I was quite excited about this until I watched that.

    • So was I, hopefully they don’t represent the actual game. I’ll still be getting it, but I hope that it doesn’t represent the finished product..

    • Glad it wasn’t just me, very disappointing, from being really excited about it now I think It’s been toned down to a wary rent with a view to a possible purchase.

    • They did look rather meh. It didn’t really help that they kept switching between real footage and in game…

      • The only reason developers use real footage in trailers is because their own footage isn’t good enough for a full trailer.

      • I nearly mentioned what Teflon said, It seems daft when the real footage and In-game footage are poles apart.
Even when done with GT5, It only further highlights that it’s a videogame and that’s the cream of the crop.
I realise others may like it but it doesn’t ever quite sync with me, though I must confess, the Monaco comparison F1 vid in the forums the other day threw me a little. :D

    • The music lineup is good though:) although the only game i’d buy for the soundtrack is guitar hero.

      • Wipeout Fury. Epic minimal techno soundtrack.

    • This is the PS2 trailer yeah? Please tell me it is!

    • It looks disappointing visually so hopefully it will make up for that in the driving.

  3. Black bean? they give me bad memories of games I thought would be epic, but no, slightly bizarre.
    I don’t think it’ll beat DiRT 2 or even GT5’s rally mode.

  4. I’m getting the game for sure but on previous experience of Black Beans game flaws/glitches I really hope that they support this game when inevitable glitches crop up, which has been lacking in their recent bike games.

    • I was going to get this, but canceled my preorder last night; in the trailers ive seen the car seems like its floating above the track, and just looks generally ‘meh’. Its a shame that blackbean games have been buggy, and that their aftersales support is so poor. Think i’ll be sticking with F1 and GT5

  5. I imagine this will be dirt cheap after a couple of weeks due to the small target audience. Will pick this up then.

  6. urgh!
They need to find some way to add anti-aliasing or an edge blurring effect, that doesn’t look great (being polite) compared to the other racers out between now and Crimbo – GT5, NfS:HP & F1 2010

  7. That’s an awful trailer but the game could be lots of fun. Definitely looking forward to it.

  8. Woav the visuals in Dirt 2 blows this away, guess I’m waiting for Dirt 3.

  9. Don’t really see much wrong with the graphics to be honest… Sure, they are not Gran Turismo 5 quality, but they are passable. Looks good. Been waiting for a Rally game since WRC Rally Evolved on PS2.

    • Isn’t Gran Turismo 5 going to include elements of this? It said it was on last year’s E3 trailer.

    • The PS3 is missing a proper rally game.
I wasn’t that impressed with the rally part of GT4, the visuals were great but the game modes/play were laking. Hoping GT5 is a lot better.

    • Mate, these visuals aren’t even GT4 quality, and I’m being serious.

      • This trailer is a VERY poor representation, try checking youtube for some gameplay videos. OK, doesn’t look as good as DiRT2 or GT5, but a hell of a lot better than it does here. Atrocious to be honest..

  10. At best, it looks like a first-generation PS3 game. At worst, it looks like a PS1 game.
