In line with what we reported earlier, Sony has announced that Music Unlimited Powered by Qriocity – a cloud-based digital music service – will be coming to PS3 later this year.
So far we know that it will give users access to millions of songs that are stored and synchronised through the cloud and can be accessed via PS3, as well as BRAVIA TVs, Blu-ray Disc players, Blu-ray Home Theatre systems and VAIO computers – all through one single account and without the need to manage digital files.
Further details will be announced soon.

Someone really needs to talk to Sony’s marketing department – they timed this announcement to coincide with the Apple music presentation in a vain attempt to divert attention their way. They failed.
There was no way that Sony would be heard above the tornado of news coming out of Cupertino.
