Section 8 Sequel Announced

SouthPeak has announced a sequel to its FPS game ‘Section 8.’  Due out early next year, the only additional information we have is the name – Section 8: Prejudice.  The original game came out as a boxed product for the Xbox 360, as well as via the PSN at a slightly later date – both versions got a fairly good critical reception.

Have a look at the trailer below – it looks awfully similar to another game, whose name rhymes with palo wee.

  1. Obvious similarities to a certain chieftain master themed game, that does look like a pretty sweet trailer. I just hope that nail the vehicular sections/transitions better than some of the more recent games that have come out (lost planet 2, I’m looking at you!).

Will have to keep an eye on this. :-)

  2. I enjoyed Section 8. I reviewed the PSN version for TSA. I’ll keep an eye on this.

  3. I remember less than “fairly good” reviews. Liked the idea though

  4. It does look alot like palo wee!

  5. I think it looks more like the cheap child between unreal tournament 3 and transformers.

    • though I do find it interesting and would very much like to give it a go.

  6. Oh, cool, Bungie are making another game before they lea-oh wait.

  7. Thought the original was pretty boring. Can certainly see the aesthetic similarities to Hal, yeah, but in that trailer the player was clearly able to sprint, so it’s already one up on Halo there :)

  8. Looks ok , tried the demo was nothing great perhaps a little to late at getting on the PSN?
