Back at the Resistance 3 reveal during Gamescom, we got a very swish live-action trailer, but there was no sign of any in-game media. All that has changed today, with a series of images looking like the first screenshots and concept art for Insomniac’s latest appearing on a mysterious Flickr account.
They focus on what appears to be a refugee hide-out named haven, and Resistance 2’s Nathan Capelli, who (together with his potential appearance in that first trailer), looks to be the main playable character in R3. There are also two shots of a prison-based multiplayer map.
Of course, none of this has been confirmed by Insomniac or Sony yet, but the screenshots and art certainly look official. Either that or somewhere a Resistance superfan has way too much time on his hands. Hopefully it won’t be too long before we see some official media for the game.

I really don’t think the art style is particularly unique. I really would like some nice rethinking to show that there is more to the series. Maybe some very nice vistas à la uncharted.

Indeed his name is different. I don’t see the resemblance in these images though so I think the main character will be someone completely new. Can’t wait to play it either way

Bar the concept art, don’t the screenshots look more like the hand drawn efforts from R1 ? And by that I mean it’s a good thing !
Also capelli is Nathan Hale’s team-mate isn’t he ? John Evan Capelli……not Nathan.

looks really great,but still would have liked to see some in game footage.so that i could really be impressed by the graphics,but what the hell,still looks fantastic and i have 1 and 2,throw in a nice multiplayer and im definitely going to get it.

I still blast on R1 and 2. Absolutely love them and as always they tussle with KZ as my fave FPS. I will definitely be getting this DAY ONE!
I am gonna have to give the campaigns another go as they are so good!
Anyone that hasnt played them – get them picked up you wont be let down, really good games……
