After what seems like months of rumours, it has finally been confirmed that the Prince of Persia Trilogy is indeed set for release on the PS3 in Europe only on November 19th.
Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, Prince of Persia: Warrior Within and Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones will all feature in HD on one Blu-ray disc – with 3D support thrown in for good measure.
So that’s over 30 hours of gameplay for an RRP of £29.99 – deal or no deal?

I am on 99.9% on the first one, the elevator at the end is too hard. I had a glitch on the second and had epic fail on the third one, but i will get them again

It would be nice if it had Move support as well like the Wii version. I will definitely get this at some point, I only ever played the first one and have always wanted to play Two Thrones. Are these HD remakes always PS3 specific?

Almost all except beyond good and evil but that just one game so maybe that’s why they release it on 360 too?

these prince of persia games are the only PS2 games I’ve no sold to keep the collection. will be looking into this for christmas i think

I still have the trilogy on PS2 but for a tenner for each game updated, I can’t say no :P
It may have to wait until another month though because of Assassins Creed: Brotherhood.
Now if only Rockstar would redo Manhunt….. :D

Excellent news! Will def pick this up – am loving the HD remakes, several of my Xbox only pals are very very pissed at not getting this!!
Now if Sony would work some HD magic on ‘War of the Monsters’ or Nippon Ichi bring out a ‘Disgaea 1&2 HD’ package or EA bring ‘Simpsons Hit and Run HD’… so many potential replays!

With ps2 functionality dead and buried they could just attemp to re release half the ps2 libaey in HD with a few trophies thrown in and watch the money pour in!
