Geoff Keighley and the folks at Insomniac Games have tweeted tonight that the first gameplay footage from upcoming sequel Resistance 3 will be revealed during the 2011 Spike Video Game Awards.
Aside from the announcement, Spike uploaded a brief teaser for the trailer (yes, I know), which we’ve stuck just below:
The event is being held on Saturday December 11th, although it’s as yet unclear if the awards will be broadcast here – last year they were on Fiver. If not, you’ll find the trailers, reveals and news here as soon as we get it.

Think 2011 will see Sony’s Killzone 3 and Resistance 3 stepping up any Halo remake and Gears 3… The tide is turning towards to PS3 exclusives IMHO.
