Prototype 2 Announced At VGAs

Yet another big game announced over at the 2010 Spike Video Game Awards, and this time it’s Radical and Activision’s Prototype 2.

We’ve got the game’s first trailer just below, but, visually at least, it look’s remarkably similar to the 2009 original.

Platforms are still officially TBA, but think PS3, 360 and PC like the original. The game is scheduled for a 2012 release.

  1. Am I the only one who thought the music in the trailer sounded a lot like Inception’s? The game actually looks great… I’m guessing it says “murder your maker” because [MAJOR SPOILER ABOUT THE FIRST GAME] Alex Mercer is the virus, and the virus made this “prototyped” version of the new character we’re playing.

  2. really enjoyed the first game… just running around, killing and consuming, was a real blast actually…. the graphics didnt really bother me just because the gameplay was so much fun… looking forward to see mors about this=)

  3. no way buy for me, borrowed prototype from a friend, played half hour and gave it back, was awful in my opinion
