Yet another big game announced over at the 2010 Spike Video Game Awards, and this time it’s Radical and Activision’s Prototype 2.
We’ve got the game’s first trailer just below, but, visually at least, it look’s remarkably similar to the 2009 original.
Platforms are still officially TBA, but think PS3, 360 and PC like the original. The game is scheduled for a 2012 release.

They seriously need to improve the graphics from the first one, it wasn’t very pretty and actually the gameplay got boring real quick, because you were to powerful.
I hope they learn from Eg. Infamous, where you build up more “naturally”.

Same here, fella. Quite surprised that they managed to bank-roll a sequel. However, that was a very enjoyably trailer and if they learn from the criticisms of the first one I might dip my toes into the franchise for the first time. *strokes pretend goatee*

I know the first one had it’s share of problems, but so did Assassin’s Creed and look where that series is now.

I really enjoyed Prototype. Can’t really explain why since it wasn’t particularly original or even well made, but it was fun to play all the same.
