Black Ops Zombie Survival 2 Results

The results of the second Black Ops Zombie Survival competition are in, and the winners are: X_Yoshy_X, CAIDIG, Zakwhorules and Woody who, together, survived for 30 rounds.

Congratulations to the team on winning the competition and the voucher! In second place were Corbula and Bankzy108 who reached level 28 and in third place were Nauraph, Oriontech, Darkcloud90 and Skylion19 who reached level 27.

The rules for the competition were that a random member of the team would win the voucher, so after a quick visit to random.org the winner of the £20 PSN voucher is Woody. 250 TSA points will be awarded to the other winning team mates.

Sadly this was the last of our Black Ops Zombie Survival competitions. How was the competition for you? Any memorable moments? Let us know in the comments below.

P.S. We have a forum Christmas Avatar Competition running at the moment, which you may not have noticed, as well as our Forum Awards where you can vote in a number of categories for members of the community.

  1. Round 30.. What the hell.. =P
We couldn’t even kill all Zombies from round 26 (not 27) with two PaP’d weapons with full ammo.

I suppose we should’ve used the traps..

Gratz Woody. ^^ And nicely done, winning team. ^^

    • (We reached Round 26, not 27)

    • I had two other teams send in entries that were level 30 too, but both after the deadline :( !

Yep, it was 26 not 27 (and 27 not 28 for the other team!) but the positions are still the same so not a problem :)

    • That’s pretty nice.. 30.. That was definitely not possible with our tactic..
Are the kills much lower on the Round 30 entries perhaps? That should explain how they got that far.

      • The less players you have, the less Zombies there are I think but these guys did it with 4 people so the kills were still big. I have put a link to the winning picture lower down in these comments, take a look :)

  2. Well done guys! :)
My wife and I love playing this game but alas haven’t found another two players who we gel with yet so we never got round to entering this competition :(

  3. Gratz Woody (and team ofcourse), i am very curious how you guys reached wave 30, since our team (like Nauraph already said) were having a lot of trouble beating wave 26 (and failed to do that).

I fond those competitions very entertaining, and would like to see some other competitions in the future as well. Perhaps we can have a GT 5 competition somewhere in 2011^^?

  4. Yay! We won! thanks TSA, AG2297 & Colin for the competition. i cant beleve we won and that was our fist proper try at this map as well. we did it by staying in the first room down sairs constantly used the fire trap and keeped buying new guns then upgrading them.

    • Our tactic was to go outside (and keep upgrading weapons ofc) so the zombies could only come from 2 different directions.

  5. I’m still struggling with the zombie trophies! Let alone getting that far! Well done guys, great acheivment to all involved!

    • I know that feeling! I got the pentagon thief one very quickly once I realised upgrading your pistols results in double grenade launchers, but the other 3 are proving very tricky. Last 3 achievements i need :(

  6. Yay we won! we went in the room downstairs left of the lobby and used the trap. we also had good cooperation and the random box gave us some good guns. we had some very close calls when we were all running low on ammo and praying for a max ammo. The hardest bit was having to revive woody as he got downed 29 times, luckly i had the zeus cannon and X_Yoshy_X had quick revive. Thanks TSA and AG2297

  7. Argh what? Me and Bankzy108 got to round 30 as well. I sent in the entry at 11:40 last night then when i woke up this morning had an email saying the entry couldn’t be accepted because it was after 11:59.

    • /\ What he said. We were going to drop at 11:50 regardless of wheather or not we could of continued just to get the entry in – turns out we lost on 30 anyway. =]

Well done to all that took part though and TSA for making the competition – just wish there was another. =[

    • Also could you post the picture of the winning teams results?

    • Hey guys,

Unfortunately your email didnt come through until 00:39 (I can PM a picture to you if you wish, as I wont reveal any email addresses on here) as did a few more entries later on.

If it is any consolation, the others would still have won as it would have gone down to points and with 4 players they would have won.

      Unlucky guys :(

(Oh and here is the winning picture for you http://yfrog.com/66winningj )

      • Fair enough, but I think having the score combined is a bit unfair because if you have two or three players and draw on the same level you will not beat the people with for team members. Which in a way playing with two people is sometimes harder than four as if one gets downed there is only one team member left instead of three – two can cover the other while he picks the downed man up.

      • But with two players you have less zombies, which makes it easier so it sort of balances out a bit. That’s why you could be tactical and have two players and aim for the furthest level possible, or have 4 and aim for the highest score possible.

      • I think the whole tactic/gameplay is different if you play with 2 or for members, so I think it’s actually wrong comparing those. But oh well.. ^^
It looks like we actually got more kills/score on Round 26 than they have on Round 30. I suppose they made great use of the trap, which was our ‘mistake’.
Funny how Zak got the most kills, least points and worst headshots. =P

      • four*
        lol. xD

      • yer its cos he had the big gun most the time so he was on the door and others where on the windows and a one person was a floater who just helped with every thing.

      • Can you PM or email me an email address for Woody Yoshy so we can send his voucher, please :)

      • Well its the same amount of zombies per head so if you have four players vs two the only difference is double the amount of zombies (which is correct because there is also double the amount of people). So basically if round 10 had 100 zombies on two players then it would have 200 for four players. Which in my opinion its basically the same, except I think with four people its easier in a way if you get into trouble as two can take the front while the other person picks the downed man up.

        Heres our results –
        Zombies Killed: 1447

        There result –
        Zombies Killed: 2729

Now take into account there is twice as many zombies as they have two more players then the results are:

        Us: 2894
        Them: 2729

We even used the trap a few times and I’m guessing they did to so we got more kills.

So if you double our score & theres:

        Ours: 313620
        Theirs: 377460

Yes they got more, but we had a ray gun (me) and HK21 (Corbula) as our primarys, whereas they could of had a ray gun and 3 assult rifles which means more bullets into zombies which means more points & they could afford to have assault rifles because theres more of them to target fire. So the way its decided is unfair.

      • @AG2297 yer iv got woody to pm u his email

  8. four*

  9. here’s the email i sent just to show i did send it before 11:59
    http://yfrog.com/g9emailnj

    • Y? Did u beet 30? because at 1st i didn’t think that 30 was that high.
