To people that don’t keep up with boxing, it might just look like two guys hitting each other repeatedly. In reality, there’s a lot more going on behind the scenes with each fighter, and it looks like it’s going to be a similar situation for gamers in Fight Night Champion. EA has released a new trailer that shows how stamina will work this time around.
Not being able to throw the same punch over and over again with the same effectiveness should force fighters to mix things up and bit, and that’s certainly not a bad thing. It’s hard to tell without getting some hands on time, but it sure seems like this ‘regional anaerobic fatigue’ system they’re implementing will be a good thing.

Very good idea, hopefully the game is really good. Id love a good boxing sim. Been ages since I’ve beaten my mates up properly in a fighting game

Fight night round 4 was a farce online so hopefully this will go some way to addressing that.

Cool man, very cool.
The Mysterious Phantom Bear
At last.
No more people picking face button controls and rinsing body hooks ad infinitum.

Nooo I don’t want a more simplified corner experience! I liked the healing minigames in 3 :-(

this look’s awsome, I’m a big fan of this franchise, they really manage to step it up with every release.
