The humungous January Sale takes up most of the space on this week’s PSN Store Update. There are one or two other items of note though.

For those of you who are exclusively PS3 gamers (or don’t pay for Gold Live on an Xbox 360), the Bulletstorm demo is going up. This is a manic, self-aware, pleasingly violent romp from the studio that made the Gears franchise for Xbox 360.

The other high point is probably the Trial and Unlock for Dead Space: Extraction, the Move-powered on-rails Wii port which has apparently converted very well into a higher definition.

  1. havnt looked yet, but hoping r.u.s.e dlc is reduced in p+ section as it was in us last wk
    i doubt it, surley this is illegal if not
    diff content fine, same content reduced in only one p+ section, a slap in the face

    • while waiting for eu store, picked up b.storm & extraction
      + another dose of the lovely christina lee, i wish eu would scrap (low budget, annoying jokes) firstplay for something like qore (free with play+)
      we are required to pay for firstplay & pulse is free, sod it i want to emigrate

  2. Wish I’d purchased Joe Danger when it was cheap. Nothing else grabs me at the moment.

  3. Just grabbed the Bulletstorm demo, will give it a go later. I wonder how many takers there will be for ME2, considering it’s £48 and 11gb size…

    • 12gb actually, at least that’s what my full game trial is telling me…

  4. Tried the Bulletstorm demo. Thankfully, I hated it, I’ve enough money already earmarked.

    Still a no-show on Auditorium … What was once frustration is slowly turning into sadness. Hope it turns up soon.

  5. I played through the Bulletstorm demo about 10 times last night… and I thought it was great fun! So far, I’m really liking the skillshots… lots of fun coming up with combos. :)

  8. I’m downloading the Bulletstorm demo. A PS1 game that is an actual classic, i thought they had died out. I hope sony can keep up these kinds of updates.:oD
