Podcast: Episode 4

Here we are then, Episode 4 of our little podcast is all ready for you to give it a jolly good listening. This week Alex joins in again with stories of how awesome everything in London is, excuses for holding up the train home and news of the Huskygames iPhone venture. Lewis talks us through a few of the Oscar nominations we forgot to talk about last week and Kris regails us with news of the upcoming Captain America comic/movie tie in. I was there but I can’t remember saying much of interest.

Hopefully there were no offensive jokes this week but I’m not making any promises. In fact, you should probably read our now-habitual disclaimer: This podcast features strong language, jokes in poor taste and adult themes, if you’re offended by that then we recommend that you don’t listen to it at all.

There are two whole competitions included this week, one in which Lewis pledges to send you something random (it may or may not be lewd) and one in which Kris want’s some new music. We haven’t really decided on prizes for that one but it will probably involve having your music used on the podcast every week and possibly receiving some of the brand new TSA stickers I’ve got. Those are nice.

  1. just started listening now. Finding it hard to hear Nofi sadly. Volume on him keeps fluctuating. Heard Giant Batman though.

    • yeah, Alex’s Singstar microphone isn’t the best for recording with :-P

      • Sorry guys. Will find something better for the next one.

  2. How long did it take you guys to get approved by iTunes? Keep ’em coming!

    • Yeah man your mic is pretty scratchy. I find the rock band mics work better if you have one. I use a headset for nuTSAck but for the youtube vids I used the rock band one. Works fine.

    • Maybe a week or two.

  3. Yes! Look forward to listening to this later, really enjoyed the last one (the first one i’d heard) :)

  4. The audio quality is a bit crappy to be honest

    • Sorry, Alex’s mic isn’t great. I did everything I could to eliminate the hiss. He’s promised to improve it if he comes back.

  5. Nice, will listen to this one in the car later. Has Lewis got his ‘easy’ quiz on in this one? I swear they are solid.

  6. Pengween Pengween Pengween Pengween Pengween Pengween Pengween Pengween Pengween Pengween Pengween Pengween Pengween Pengween Pengween Pengween Pengween Pengween Pengween Pengween Pengween

  7. I’m just listening to it now and I’m having a laugh :D
funny fact: this is the first time i heard “nofi” said out loud, and that is not how i thought it was pronouced :p

    • I thought it was “no-fee” until they said it on the podcast for the first time. Makes sense the right way though.

  8. Awesome, really awesome.
Unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll be joining any time in the near future, due to my Uni blocking Skype… :(

  9. Nearly fell over on my run, laughing so heavily at your rather worrying comedy – funny, though. Keep this up guys, you’re making a great job at the moment.

  10. Good listen guys. You’re right on with Dead Space 2. I didn’t find it scary either. It’s good but… I have to say I prefer the original.

    • Love the mini-discussion about Greek and Latin too. I literally lol. :D
