Red Faction Armageddon Boxart Revealed

Hope you like your game cover art with disintegrating men and lots of blue, because the official Red Faction site has posted the final packshots for the upcoming Armageddon, and it has a decent amount of both.

The upcoming follow-up to 2009’s Guerilla sees you, fifty years later, in the shoes of Darius Mason, with the Martian colonists literally driven underground after the surface of the planet becomes once again uninhabitable. Oh, and you get a big shiny Plasma Cannon, as you can see in the boxart.

Red Faction: Armageddon will be out for PS3, 360 and PC this May, with a final date still to be announced.

  1. Looking forward to this, love Volition.

  2. I don’t like the boxart but I am looking forward to the game.

  3. No space for ‘Volition’ on the cover but ‘SyFy Games’ gets a spot?

    • I was wondering too, who are SyFy?

      • Didn’t know the TV studio was in the games industry. Nice way to debut though if it is the same company. The logos are identical though.

  4. Love the boxart. Can’t wait for this game!

  5. Never did finish guerilla. Maybe I’ll do that after finishing killzone 2.

  6. Not massively hyped about this but that is some cool looking box-art. It’s like they took Alpha Protocol and fulfilled its potential.
I particularly like how the name and picture are, for the most part, separate. It’s very clean and tidy.

  7. My bro will be very happy, he loves Red Faction.

Think I might give it a shot, hearing good things about it.

  8. thats great cover art. really like that. still not convinced about the game though. i need more than “things go boom” to make me buy it

  9. Not looking forward to this game. Loved RF: Guerilla because I could wreak havoc on the Martian Surface. With this one going underground, as well as many previews I’ve read, it seems like they are trying to have more in common with Dead Space. This game is already on my GameFly list because I don’t want to knock it too bad until I’ve tried it. Hopes are not high though.
