“The biggest game in the world returns,” says the UK Official PlayStation Magazine underneath a massive green three. Not that it should come as any surprise.
The page, which essentially pimps the mag’s next issue, has got the internet all excited about yet more first person shooting along invisible tunnels (I’m not a big fan) and looks set to back up Craig Fairbrass’ earlier nuggets of not very vague information.
“I did Call of Duty: Modern Warfare as Gaz and then I did Ghost in Modern Warfare 2,” he said, “which has become one of the more iconic figures in the history of computer games, which is great.”
“And I’ve just been out in LA doing something that’s going to be announced in May. “I’ve just been out there doing some bits and pieces, and one is to do with… I can’t say too much.”
We’ll wait and see what OPM have and show, although we’re fairly sure it won’t be confined to just the one magazine. Me? I’m keeping an eye on the new Battlefield myself…

I’m not a big fan of Infinity Ward’s CoD games, but it will be interesting to see what is produced this time around, given the adversity of the development period.

If you personally don’t like it… EA are happily building a million first person shooters for an alternative, they’ll be an anunal Battlefield title alternating between Battlefield and Battlefield Bad Company each year & then of course Medal Of Honour crowding the genre further and it can’t be too much longer until West & Zampella’s Respawn Entertainment project is announced.

It could be Battlefield 3, OPm have done something similar before and like to be cyptic and throw you off (in this case the green 3)
Although ‘Biggest game of all time returns’ would be deabatable about both BF2 and MW2.

Surprised its OPM that will announce this game. CoD is mainly a Xbox series.

call of duty1: finest hour, was on the playstion2 & the 360s’ predecessor xbox in 2004, the series has had each installment on both brands of consoles ever since. apart from microsoft getting timed exclusive dlc, there is no difference.

Just give me cod4 multiplayer (with just the basic 3 kill streaks) with added game modes, more guns and a 50+ quality maps and id be a very happy bunny!

nail on the head with that comment dont get me wrong ive had the big killstreaks on mw2 and there cool no doubt but cod4 had 26days playing on it loved it then love it now best maps ive ever played on guns were second to none sniping was too cool and was the most balanced flowing game to date bit poor really as nothing changed or got better since cod4 release in 2007
